When I am trying to 'quick build' my document in TeXstudio 2.1 on Mac OS X 10.6.8, I am getting and error: could not start the command (with 'quick build' options being LaTeX + DviPdf + PdfViewer). Texmaker, which is the original follows it. ![]() Texstudio is the best all round editor: It is the most complete in feature and one of the most stable editors out there. Here is my rank: after trying many of them (I don’t try the Vim and Emacs addons). Run: brew cask install texstudio Done! You can now use TeXstudio. So just type your password and press ENTER/RETURN key. When you type the password, it won't be displayed on screen, but the system would accept it. If the screen prompts you to enter a password, please enter your Mac's user password to continue. I’m trying to make the notes to remember the steps here in case of somebody needs it as well. For English supporting is not a problem in LaTeX, but Chinese edit problem I encounter under Mac OS. How Does TeXstudio Support Chinese Words Edit in LaTeX Under Mac.
